Comparison

Contrayo vs DocuSign CLM

DocuSign built the dominant e-signature brand and is extending it into full contract lifecycle management — with a massive installed base most vendors can't match. What it hasn't done is publish a real price for that CLM product. Contrayo has.

Bottom line

If you're already running on DocuSign's e-signature platform and need Salesforce/SAP/ Workday-grade integration depth from a public, low-procurement-risk vendor, DocuSign is a defensible choice for extending into CLM. If you want a contract lifecycle product — not an e-signature platform with CLM layered on top — where the price is public before you ever talk to sales, Contrayo is the more direct fit.

A note on IAM vs. CLM. DocuSign's only published, self-serve price ladder is for IAM (Intelligent Agreement Management) — eSignature, the Navigator repository, and workflow — not for CLM itself. DocuSign markets CLM Essentials, CLM, and CLM+ as separate, quote-only tiers with no published price found anywhere, and it is not confirmed that purchasing IAM Professional actually includes full CLM-equivalent functionality. Every DocuSign figure below is labeled IAM or CLM so the two aren't conflated.

Being fair about it

Where DocuSign has the edge

Scale and trust

Nearly 1.9 million customers and a public-company track record lower procurement risk in a way a newer, self-serve vendor simply can't match yet.

Enterprise integration depth

Named, deep integrations into Salesforce, SAP (including a dedicated Ariba connector), Workday (400+ supported business processes), and Oracle NetSuite.

Gartner track record

Six consecutive years as a Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader for CLM — one of the longer active streaks in the category.

E-signature heritage

Decades of agreement-transaction data feeding Iris, DocuSign's agreement-AI engine, on top of the strong authentication and bulk-send capability its core e-signature product is built on.

Worth noting: DocuSign has never published its own CLM-specific comparison page against a named competitor — this page addresses a comparison DocuSign's own site doesn't.
